Magic Mountain was the place to be on September 25, 2009! About 150 people from the community joined The Collaborative to celebrate our local and national commitment to afterschool programing. Families were greeted and welcomed as they registered their homemade chili and apple pie, participants enjoyed fun and games including mini golf, basketball, bobbing for apples, scarecrow making and coloring. Countless prizes were won for playing games and there were special door prizes for adults and youth. The community celebration continued while everyone enjoyed the delicious chilis and apple pies while rocking to Chris Kleeman. 

Stratton Mountain was recognized as the 2009 community business leader dedicated to supporting afterschool programs. Michael Cobb, Vice President of Marketing, accepted on behalf of Stratton Mountain the 2009 Lights on Afterschool Champion Award.
